Skeptical Skepticism

“The people of Grand Junction little dream of the wonderful scenic grandeur that is almost at the gates of the city, and it is high time that there was an awakening to the fact of the presence of this marvelous scenic Beauty Paradise. We speak with knowledge and without the least desire or attempt at exaggeration when we state that within a few miles of Grand Junction there is an almost endless array of magnificent masterpieces of nature that make the world-famous Garden of the Gods at Colorado Springs sink into insignificance when a comparison is made.”

New hike! I didn’t take a whole lot of pictures on this one. I was too fascinated with the fact there were more animal tracks than human on the trail; It had me keeping an extra eye out. http://goo.gl/y7XDm

Had a pretty amazing sunset hike through Wedding and Monument Canyons tonight. Originally had other plans…. I’m pretty happy that they fell through. My first time back since I took Mom on the Monument Canyon half of the trail back in October.

Another great day on the trail.

Great hike to Liberty Cap tonight. The sunsets are getting longer and longer; means that summer is just around the corner!
